GoRoamIt Terms of Use

These terms supplement the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Apple Standard EULA) that applies to GoRoamIt when no custom EULA is supplied. If these terms conflict with non-waivable consumer law or the Apple Standard EULA, the applicable law and Apple Standard EULA control.

1. Operator and acceptance

GoRoamIt is provided by Aura Motion Group Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong, and is published under the Better Tools Studio software brand (together, "GoRoamIt," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using GoRoamIt, you agree to these terms, the Apple Standard EULA, and the GoRoamIt Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the app or make a purchase.

2. What GoRoamIt provides

GoRoamIt is a local-first trip organization tool. It helps you record and present information that you enter, including itineraries, places, tasks, notes, budgets, traveler details, and attachments.

GoRoamIt is not a travel agency, booking service, emergency service, navigation system, financial adviser, medical adviser, immigration adviser, or source of official transport, visa, safety, weather, or entry information. Always confirm important information directly with the relevant provider or authority.

YOUR USE OF THIS REAL TIME WEATHER GUIDANCE APPLICATION OR WEBSITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. WEATHER DATA MAY NOT BE ACCURATE.

3. Free access

Free access includes one trip total across Active and Archived. Trips in Recently Deleted do not occupy that slot. The app identifies paid entry points before asking you to purchase.

If paid access expires while you have multiple trips, no trip is deleted. All trips remain viewable. You choose one trip to keep editable with Free access; the others remain read-only until valid Annual Pro or Lifetime access returns.

4. Annual Pro subscription

Annual Pro is an auto-renewable one-year subscription purchased through Apple. The App Store confirmation screen displays the authoritative localized price, currency, billing period, and introductory-offer eligibility before purchase. The US reference price is $19.99 per year.

Apple may offer eligible customers a 14-day introductory free trial. Apple determines eligibility. Unless cancelled before renewal, the subscription automatically renews at the price shown by Apple. Payment is charged to the Apple Account used for the purchase.

Annual Pro provides the paid feature set while the verified subscription remains active. While subscribed, its continuing value includes newly released Pro features, improvements to Pro features, system compatibility updates, and support. This does not promise a fixed release schedule or any particular future feature, and the description must match the delivered app and App Store metadata.

Manage or cancel Annual Pro through Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling stops a future renewal; it does not normally end access before the verified expiration date and is not itself a refund. Deleting GoRoamIt does not cancel the subscription.

If a previously StoreKit-verified subscription expires while verification is unavailable offline, GoRoamIt may continue Pro access for no more than 3 days from Apple's signed expiration time. At that deadline, access becomes Free even if the device remains offline. Verified refunds and revocations do not receive grace.

5. Lifetime purchase

Lifetime is a separate, non-consumable in-app purchase. The App Store confirmation screen displays the authoritative localized price before purchase. The US reference price is $29.99.

Lifetime unlocks the same paid feature set without annual renewal for as long as GoRoamIt remains offered and supported, subject to these terms, platform availability, verified refund or revocation, and applicable law. "Lifetime" does not promise that every device, operating-system version, third-party service, or app feature will remain available forever.

6. Restore Purchases, refunds, and revocations

Restore Purchases asks Apple to restore eligible Annual Pro or Lifetime rights for the current Apple Account. It does not download, replace, synchronize, or restore locally stored trips.

Apple handles App Store payment processing and refund requests. GoRoamIt cannot guarantee or directly issue an Apple refund. If Apple verifies a refund, charge reversal, or revocation, the related paid access may end. Losing paid access does not cause GoRoamIt to delete local trips.

7. Your data and backups

Trip information is stored locally unless you choose to export or share it. You are responsible for maintaining suitable device protection and recovery copies. Clearing app data, device failure, storage pressure, operating-system behavior, uninstalling the app, or losing exported files may cause data loss.

Recovery exports may contain private traveler and trip information. Store them securely. Recovery import is not cloud synchronization and may create additional copies. The Privacy Policy explains server-side purchase verification and optional external requests.

8. Exports and third-party services

When you export, share, open a link, request weather, or hand information to another app or service, that recipient or service may process the information under its own terms. You are responsible for reviewing the content and choosing an appropriate recipient.

Calendar exports are one-time files, not live synchronization. Re-importing may create duplicates, and later edits or cancellations in GoRoamIt do not update an imported calendar automatically.

Weather, maps, booking links, websites, and other external information may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, incomplete, or changed by their providers. Do not rely on GoRoamIt for emergencies or time-critical decisions.

You retain rights in information and media you lawfully enter into GoRoamIt. You are responsible for having permission to use, store, export, and share that content.

GoRoamIt and its original software, design, documentation, and branding are owned by Aura Motion Group Limited or its licensors. Better Tools Studio is the software brand under which the company publishes GoRoamIt. The app is licensed, not sold, under the Apple Standard EULA.

11. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, change, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform requirements, provider availability, or product operation. We will not intentionally use an update to delete local trips solely because paid access ends.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The warranty disclaimers and liability limits in the Apple Standard EULA apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. GoRoamIt does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free storage, successful delivery of exports, availability of third-party services, or accuracy of user-entered or third-party information.

Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded or limited by these terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. Rights under these terms may end if you materially violate them, subject to applicable law and the Apple Standard EULA. Subscription cancellation, app deletion, local-data deletion, purchase restoration, and refund requests are separate actions.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, law, platform rules, or providers change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required. Changes do not override mandatory consumer rights.
